review.

Pho Shizzle! We love the pho. I'm nowhere near qualified to give a history of pho, but I don't need any certification to say that it's delicious. It's a massive bowl of light-clear broth with vermicelli noodles at the bottom. Floating on the top are thin, translucent shavings of onion and your favourite meat (beef rare, well done, tendon, tripe, chicken, etc.). But the best part is the stuff you get on the side: basil leaves, bean sprouts and lime, oh my! Most places also give you chopped scallions, hoisin and sriracha sauce.

We got there rather late, but made up for lost time by stuffing our faces with food as soon as we sat down. The décor was...um...functional, and the ambience was helped along by a flat panel TV, blasting...wait for it....Crossroads. That's right: the bloated movie vehicle that Britney Spears smothered with overacting and silicone. It was awesome.

Also: it was !@#$ing cold. So cold.

minutes.
  1. We decided that minutes were out for the holiday season. So done. 2 minutes ago.
  2. We rearticulated our intention to, eventually, hit a Tapas place for one of these meetings.
